A Strategic Path into Real Estate

Michael’s move into real estate was built on a strong foundation in financial services. Before becoming a realtor, he developed a successful career as a financial advisor, where disciplined analysis, long-term planning, and trust-based relationships were central to his work. Those same principles guide his real estate practice today. He helps clients navigate complex property decisions with clarity and confidence, ensuring each transaction aligns with their financial objectives and lifestyle priorities.

Building a Financial Advisory Practice

Michael began his career at Equitable Life Insurance as a Financial Advisor, working with individuals and businesses to design customized wealth-growth and protection strategies. Over time, he managed more than 1,500 client households and oversaw assets exceeding $170 million. His role involved educating clients on investment fundamentals, assessing risk tolerance, and recommending solutions tailored to each client’s needs.

He supported clients through comprehensive financial planning, investment research, and execution of trades and transactions. Education was a core part of his approach, demonstrated through regular seminars and on-site financial literacy programs that empowered clients to make informed decisions.

Advancing into Leadership and Mentorship

Michael’s ability to lead and develop others led to a transition into management within Equitable Life. As a Vice President and member of the Boston office leadership team, he focused on attracting, training, and mentoring new advisors. His work extended across New England, where he identified growth opportunities and helped expand financial education initiatives across varied communities and business channels.

He built and led a Retirement Benefits Group team that achieved national recognition and played a key role in advancing advisors into leadership positions. Over the course of his career, Michael advised more than 5,000 personal and business relationships and managed assets exceeding $450 million, demonstrating both scale and consistent performance.

Michael’s career accomplishments earned him numerous industry honors. He received the Management Development Award, ranking him among the top managers nationwide in 2021. He was also selected for the NAIFA 4 Under 40 Award by Advisor Today magazine, recognizing professionals who demonstrate excellence, leadership, and community impact early in their careers.

From 2018 through 2021, Michael was named a Five Star Wealth Manager, an award recognizing high standards in client satisfaction, asset management, and professional conduct. Throughout his career, he has remained active in professional organizations, prioritizing education, networking, and ongoing engagement within his field.

Academic Background and Licensure

Michael graduated from Bryant University in Smithfield, Rhode Island, with a Bachelor of Science in Finance.

He holds FINRA Series 7, 66, and 24 licenses, as well as Life, Accident, and Health insurance licenses in multiple states. These credentials underscore his broad expertise and commitment to professional standards.
